Europe’s leading pallet manufacturer, Scott Pallets, has appointed David Lee as director of its manufacturing division to oversee the growth of the new pallet business across the UK.
The move, which will see further investment in the business, along with a number of improvements to sites, will allow Scott Pallets' managing director Alan Gibson to provide a greater focus on the strategic direction of the business and its future growth and expansion.
Lee joins the business after several years with Hadfield Wood Recyclers, where he was latterly chief operating officer.
Gibson said: “This is a key appointment for the group, Dave’s extensive supply-chain, logistics and manufacturing experience bolsters the senior management team and it will undoubtedly strengthen our new pallet business through improvements to efficiency, customer service and product range, and enable us to focus on expanding across the UK in new locations and new markets to bring our customers the best pallet solutions for their business.”

With manufacturing sites across the UK and in Riga, Latvia, Scott Pallets produces over 250,000 new pallets and 200,000 re-conditioned pallets a week.
