Plans to build a two-storey fruit and vegetable distribution centre for a north-west produce wholesaler have been approved by Preston City Council.
Thomas Moss Fruit and Veg is bidding to see the land at the former Oak Nurseries in Goosnargh, near Preston, developed to feature a fruit and veg preparation and distribution centre, with landscaping, parking and improved access.
According to a report in the Lancashire Evening Post, the state-of-the-art new storage and distribution facility will maintain the sustainable approach that the company operates, and create 10 new jobs.
