A new organic and natural food market is set to open in one of Liverpool’s most historic buildings with an artisan-style shopping experience and an in-house eatery.

Launched by Liverpool-based online retailer Healthy Foods Online and due to open in March, the new business is named LIV and is being promoted on social media via the hashtag #LoveLifeAtLIV.

It will open at the former headquarters of The Liverpool Gas Company, at Radiant House on Bold Street, with architects restoring features such as green marble flooring and pillars that dominate the shopping area.

The artisan-style store will also feature “earthy décor” to reflect the natural environment and origins of produce.

Product ranges will have a strong focus on healthy, organic and natural food that caters for a range of dietary requirements, including vegan and gluten free diets.

Fresh fruit and vegetables will be delivered to the store daily, where there is also an artisan bakery and cheese counter.

An in-house lounge and eatery will offer breakfast and lunch with a range of healthy menus.
