The voting is now open for the 2018 UK Fruit & Vegetable Awards.

Some 50 finalists are competing across 11 categories, recognising both company and individual excellence. There are categories for innovation, sustainability, charity work, NPD, best retailer and much more.

To vote, head over to www.fpjlive.com/awards, review the finalists' submissions and then simply click the link to cast your votes online. Voting is open to FPJ subscribers and is free of charge.

Entries will be open until 3 September, with the winners presented with their trophies at a fun and informal Awards Social on the evening of 8 October at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. Entry to the Awards Social is included within tickets to FPJ Live, the leading fresh produce industry conference, which takes place on 9 October at the same venue. Tickets are available now at the early-bird rate at www.fpjlive.com.

A special Lifetime Achievement award will also be announced on the night, selected by FPJ's team of journalists for their outstanding contribution to the trade across many years.

FPJ editor Michael Barker said: 'These awards are unique in offering the whole fresh produce trade the chance to have their say on who should win. There are once again some outstanding entries, so do head over, have a read through their achievements and cast your votes!'
