New Zealand kiwifruit and avocado supplier Satara Cooperative Group has appointed Tom Wilson as its new managing director, a role he has filled for the past eight months on a temporary basis.
Since taking up the interim position last May, Mr Wilson has focused on re-engineering the company's business activities and identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities, the company said in a statement.
The group added that it felt it was in the best interests of Satara 'to maintain the consistent level of management discipline and momentum Mr Wilson has brought to the company'.
