The company kicked off its season almost a month ahead of normal and nearly two months earlier than last year
Camposol began harvesting its first table grapes of the new season in Piura last week, almost a month earlier than usual, in a bit to head off the potential impact of El Niño, tipped to be one of the strongest on record.
“This year we managed to bring our harvest forward by about one month compared to the regular window of the area and almost two months compared to the start of our harvest last year, as part of an agronomic strategy aimed at anticipating the potential effects of the phenomenon and reducing our exposure to more complex climatic conditions going forward,” CEO Ricardo Naranjo said in a LinkedIn post.
Highlighting the planning, technical knowledge and coordination between its agricultural, operational and commercial teams to make this happen, Naranjo said it provided “a concrete example of how innovation and continuous improvement allow us to adapt our operations, better manage risks and build an increasingly resilient agriculture”.

Camposol harvested 21,127 tonnes of table grapes from 561ha of production in 2025 according to its 2025 Sustainability Report.
