Strong performance in blueberries, mangoes and grapes drives growth for Peruvian producer, with CEO Ricardo Naranjo highlighting the success of the company’s year-round supply strategy
Peruvian fresh produce group Camposol has revealed its preliminary results for the first half of 2025, with sales and EBITDA both climbing.
Volumes sold grew 38 per cent year-on-year to 55,162 tonnes, the company said, with sales jumping 22 per cent to US$222mn.
EBITDA was up 9 per cent to US$67mn for the six-month period, although net profit fell 17 per cent to US$16mn.
By product, blueberry volumes grew 50.2 per cent year-over-year to 55,200 tonnes.
Sales totalled US$162.2mn, up 27.6 per cent, while gross profit rose 60.9 per cent, Camposol said.
”This strong performance was supported by a targeted pruning strategy that concentrated more production in the first half, reinforcing our position as a year-round supplier,” it stated.
The mango segment had a “solid start to 2025”, Camposol noted, while the grape category also enjoyed a strong start to the year, with volumes reaching 5,100 tonnes, about 5.5 times the volume sold in the corresponding period of 2024.
Ricardo Naranjo, CEO of Camposol, highlighted the strength of the company’s first quarter performance.
“The first half of 2025 confirmed the strength of our strategy and disciplined execution,” he said.
”We reported an EBITDA margin of 30 per cent and maintained our net debt-to-EBITDA ratio at 2.59x, the fourth consecutive quarter below our 3.5x threshold, underscoring the progress in strengthening our financial profile.
“Operationally, blueberries continued to reinforce our leadership as a year-round supplier, with production now extending across nearly every month of the year,” Naranjo continued.
“Mangoes delivered profitability under normalised conditions, grapes achieved better yields and stronger margins, and our avocado campaign is underway with disciplined execution.
”These achievements highlight the commitment of our team and our focus on building a more resilient, diversified business that creates long-term value for all stakeholders,” he added.
