Companies interested in showcasing their products and services at Asia’s only fresh produce trade show have until the end of February to register for their exhibition stand.

Gérald Lamusse, managing director of Global Produce Events, the event organiser, said: “The stream of exhibitor applications coming in for this year’s Asia Fruit Logistica underlines the clear value that companies operating in Asia place on the event as the premier business platform.”

Asia Fruit Logistica takes place on 8-10 September, 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The registration deadline for exhibitors is 28 February 2010.

Satisfaction levels among the exhibitors to last year’s event were very high, with 80 per cent of exhibitors gaining new customers, 88 per cent able to strengthen relationships with exhibiting customers, and 92 per cent able to prepare business deals.

This was as a direct result of the top-quality buyers and trade visitors who visited the event from more than 50 countries. Some 73 per cent of visitors held a leading management position in their company, and 82 per cent are closely involved in the buying decisions for their company.

“These figures are unparalleled, and they demonstrate why companies and organisations are choosing to exhibit at Asia Fruit Logisitca,” said Lamusse. “Exhibitors are guaranteed to meet serious trade buyers at Asia Fruit Logistica, and that is the most important ingredient for anyone who is serious about breaking into the market in Asia.”

The event expects to see healthy growth in both exhibitor and visitor numbers this year. More than 250 exhibitors and over 3,500 trade visitors from Asia and the rest of the world are due to take part.

Asia Fruit Logistica is held alongside Asiafruit Congress, Asia’s only fresh produce conference, which is organised by Asiafruit Magazine. The Asiafruit Congress takes place every day before the doors open for the trade fair, offering delegates from around the world both insights and information into the latest trends and developments in the Asian fresh produce business.
