The British Asparagus Conference will be taking place at Cobrey Farms on 26 June, organisers have confirmed.

The conference has been devised to offer a comprehensive programme addressing key aspects of asparagus cultivation and production.

The morning sessions will feature presentations covering a number of topics, followed by demonstrations in the afternoon focusing on harvesting aids designed to streamline operations and reduce labour costs. There will also be asparagus field trials for delegates to view.

Delegates will have the opportunity to tour the packhouse and machinery, gaining insight into the latest advancements in the industry.

Running alongside the event will be a trade exhibition, giving delegates the chance to explore offerings from a range of companies and network with fellow industry professionals. The networking lunch will further facilitate discussions among growers, agronomists, machinery companies, and other associated industries, organisers said.

Additionally, a drinks reception and conference dinner will take place on the evening of Tuesday 25 June at The Feathers Hotel in Ledbury.
