New locations represent international expansion of the retailer’s Daily Shop format
Whole Foods Market is doubling its UK portfolio this year with the opening of six new stores.

The natural and organic retailer is opening six new locations in London over the coming months – in Angel, Liverpool Street, Notting Hill Gate, Wood Wharf, Monument and St James’s. It adds to last year’s first new UK store in over a decade, a 21,000 sq ft site on King’s Road.
The six openings will take place between April and June 2026, and will vary in size between roughly 3,300 and 10,000 sq ft.
The new locations also represent the international expansion of Whole Foods Market’s Daily Shop format, which launched in New York City in 2024. The Daily Shop store design maximises the number of high-quality offerings available in locations under 14,000 sq ft.
“We’re happy to be expanding Whole Foods Market’s physical store presence in the UK, allowing us to reach more customers with our uncompromising quality standards and carefully curated selection of natural and organic products,” said Jason Buechel, vice president of Amazon’s Worldwide Grocery Stores and Whole Foods Market CEO.
“Each new store represents an opportunity to bring responsibly sourced, high-quality food to more communities who share our values of nourishing people and the planet.”
The new stores will feature an array of certified organic and conventional produce, with prepared food options including lunchtime salads, sandwiches and seasonal favourites such as Crackling Cauliflower.
New and exclusive products are set to include a Flowers & Plants Premium Bouquet, Vidrate Mojito Electrolyte Sachet, Karma Kombucha Mojito Ginger Beer, Mojo Mate Original, Passionfruit and Açai Blueberry Iced Tea & Coffee, White Box Whiskey Sour and Walker Wodehouse Mexican Lager.
To celebrate the store openings, Whole Foods Market is making monetary donations to community non-profit organisations including FoodCycle, All Saints Food Bank, Independent Food Aid Network and Family Action Food Clubs.
