Kiwi Crunch, CAJ and Prunus Orchards will now operate under the Consolidated Fruits company

New Zealand premium produce brand Kiwi Crunch has established a new parent company Consolidated Fruits in a strategic move to unify its fruit businesses.

The new entity serves as the overarching company for the three established New Zealand fruit brands: Kiwi Crunch, CAJ, and Prunus Orchards.

Between the companies, Consolidated Fruits incorporates over 880ha of apple, pear and cherry orchards which produces over 35,000 tonnes of apples, 180 tonnes of pears and 750 tonnes of cherries.

“This marks an exciting new chapter for our business,” said James Bennett, sales manager, Consolidated Fruits. “Bringing our brands together under one parent company allows us to better streamline our operations and reinforce our commitment to delivering premium fruit to customers around the world.”

The three companies, based in Hastings and Central Otago, will continue functioning independently. However, as part of the update, the company headquarters will move to Aukland and a new company website has been established.

“All operations at Kiwi Crunch, CAJ and Prunus Orchards will continue as usual, this change just helps with the integration of the back-office functions and brand identity across the group,” Bennet said.
