Australian almond company will redeploy proceeds within its core business

Select Harvests (SHV) is looking to sell its Mountview almond orchard near Griffith, New South Wales.

The company said the strategic decision is based on the orchard’s relatively small scale.

“Mountview is SHV’s smallest almond orchard, and some distance from other SHV orchards,” according to release from SHV. “The proceeds will be redeployed within SHV’s core business, in line with the company’s capital management policy.”

The orchard consists of approximately 124ha of planted almonds. No water entitlements are attached to the orchard.
