Dutch group Rijk Zwaan has held a special launch event to mark the introduction of its unique Sensational Flavours range in the US.
The product range, which consists of vegetable varieties that distinguish themselves by offering a special taste experience, has already been rolled out in Europe and Asia, with a US launch considered the 'logical next step', according to Rijk Zwaan.
To celebrate the offical launch, Rijk Zwaan invited a group of large-scale growers, trading companies and retailers to an event that included dishes created using the Sensational Flavours range, as well as a presentation on food trends by culinary expert Greg Drescher.
'Introducing this product line on another continent is proof of the continuing success of Sensational Flavours,' the group noted,
