Word spread during last weekend’s PMA Fresh Summit that Maurice ‘Mo’ Cameron would be leaving Trinity Fruit Sales to form a start up marketing venture in partnership with Warmerdam Packing for direct marketing of that company’s stonefruit.

According to The Produce News, the new company will be known as Flavor Tree and will commence operations in early October.

Also making an industry move is Blair Richardson, who has been named CEO of WesPak Sales.

Mr Richardson had headed up FreshSense – the marketing arm of the stonefruit grower alliance Ripe ‘n Ready – since 2007.

Previously, Mr Richardson had been president of the California Tree Fruit Agreement.

WesPak markets stonefruit and table grapes grown by Enns Packing, Dinuba, California.
