The American Society of Association Executives & The Centre for Association Leadership has handed the Produce Marketing Association's (PMA) 'Crunch the Numbers' school curriculum an award for excellence.

The scheme is designed to help teachers encourage healthy eating and the consumption of fruits and vegetables, while also teaching essential maths skills. Elsewhere, the PMA has announced its line-up of keynote speakers at the PMA 2008 Fresh Summit in Orlando, Florida between 24-27 October. CEO Bryan Silbermann will be joined by businessman Jack Welch, White House veteran Tony Snow, and Ken Schmidt who re-energised the Harley Davidson brand.
