French retailer Carrefour's head of European operations has told Turkishnewspaper Haberturk that the retailer does not plan to leave the country, Planet Retail has reported.
However, Carrefour could be considering changing its local partner, as the relationship with its local partner Sabanci has been tense since its CEO Zafer Kurtul announced in February that he was dissatisfied with the current situation.
Sabanci has been Carrefour’s Turkish partnerfor more than 15 years, owning 39.8 per cent of CarrefourSA.
