Landgard apprentices

Landgard's 31 new apprentices had their first day on 1 August

The Landgard Group has invested in young talent by offering positions to 31 new apprentices on two to three year training courses.

The growers’ cooperative, which is one of Europe’s biggest marketing organisations for flowers, plants, fruit and vegetables, has placed its new trainees with different producers across Germany.

Their positions will include: sales agent for wholesale and export, IT specialist for system integration, commercial driver, warehouse logistics specialist and logistics manager.

On 1 August, the apprentices' first day at the firm, new recruits were welcomed by head of HR Wolgang Schubert and training supervisor Joanna Vennekel and received information on the company, as well as an outline of their respective programmes.

Over the course of their apprenticeships, trainees will work in a range of different departments to get a broad overview of the company’s operations.

Landgard will open applications for next year’s apprentices after the summer holidays.
