On 1 January 2017, the National Trade Union of Importers and Exporters of Fruit and Vegetables (SNIFL), based at Perpignan logistics platform Saint-Charles International, joined French interprofessional organisation Interfel.
The move will allow importers and exporters of the Perpignan platform to participate actively in the work of Interfel, which is responsible for communicating on the sector and promoting interprofessional dialogue, especially between upstream and downstream links in the supply chain.
Interfel brings together many downstream organisations in the chain, including Aneefel, the national association of fruit and vegetable shippers and exporters, UNCGFL, the national union of fruit and vegetable wholesalers, UNFD, the national union of fruit and vegetable retailer associations, and FCD, the federation of supermarket chains.
Representing SNIFL at the conference of national professional organisations and on Interfel’s board of directors will be Denis Ginard, chairman of SNIFL, and vice-president Philippe Arroyo.
