The 12,500m2 show hosted 191 direct and indirect exhibitors from Argentina, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain, Italy, Poland, Cyprus, Iraq, Albania, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, the UK, the US, Japan and Canada.

A key part of the event was a hosted buyers programme, which saw 120 businesses from 20 countries attending over 2,500 B2B meetings with representatives from Greek enterprises.

In cooperation with Greek magazine Froutonea, Freskon also hosted FreshCon Market, a way of bringing major supermarket chains into direct contact with professionals in Greece’s agricultural sector facilitating commercial agreements.

The exhibition also found room for a packed out International Kiwi Congress, which gave Greek and international kiwifruit specialists the opportunity to analyse the present and future of kiwifruit on the global stage.
