SanLucar has launched a limited edition heart-shaped strawberry pack for Valentine’s Day.
The 400g punnets, featuring a large heart-shaped cutout, are available in German and Austrian supermarkets.
“SanLucar cultivates the most aromatic strawberry varieties in sunny Andalusia (Huelva), where winter is mild and spring is already warm,” the company said.
“They thrive in harmony with nature until they are fully red, ripe and juicy – only then are they picked by hand and carefully put in the package. So the sun-drenched fruits in their heart packaging become a sweet and healthy surprise for Valentine's Day.”
The packs will be promoted by point-of-sale posters, displays and recipe leaflets featuring eye-catching images of SanLucar growers.
