Alain Berger of Interfel, France's interprofessional organisation for fresh produce, is to resign from his post as director in order to take up a director's role with the council of Indre-et-Loire, a department in west-central France. Mr Berger joined Interfel in August 2006, having previously worked for Inao and the ministry of agriculture.
