David Berryman Ltd, one of the UK’s leading blenders and suppliers of fruit juices and fruit-based ingredients is now back in family hands following the completion of talks to buy the company back from venture capitalists group 3i.
Managing director David Berryman, said: “When we made plans to establish the first purpose-built factory in the UK, in 1997, we knew we would need financial backing.
“We could not have built the factory without 3i, however, independence gives us greater flexibility for future strategies as the company now embarks on its exciting new phase.”
