Marketing director at The Greenery, Hein Bemelmans, will leave in July and take up a position as sales director for Syngenta Seeds in northern Europe at the end of August.
He told freshinfo: “I have been active more than 12 years for the Greenery and Van Dijk Delft/Superior and at the age of 42, I am ready for a new challenge. The Greenery organisation is well set for the future; [with] a young and dynamic management team, motivated staff and a solid base of top growers. The reason for leaving is 100 per cent personal.
“Syngenta has big ambitions to grow the seed business and I see great opportunities in the total produce chain for the future starting at genetics.”
