Innovation will be the theme at this year’s Europêch’ conference, set to take place on April 26 in Perpignan, France.

The international produce event, organised by French departments the Région Languedoc-Roussillon and the Bassin Rhône-Méditerranée, along with the Chambre d’Agriculture du Roussillon, will take place on just one day this year for the first time ever, as opposed to the event’s traditional day and a half format.

Three workshops on the theme of innovation will form part of the event, one centred on production, one on transport and logistics and one on distribution and consumption. The afternoon will be devoted to the discovery of Greece as a major European stonefruit producer, followed by the annual stonefruit crop reports, to be presented by a panel of experts from France, Spain, Italy and Greece.
