TDG’s temperature controlled services division is introducing a delivery service for its customers.

The major European logistics company has initially commissioned four new insulated and refrigerated vehicles - one 18-tonne rigid and three 44t articulated lorries.

Initially, the service will be based from Manchester’s Trafford Park and will focus on the North West, but the network is expected to grow as demand continues.

TDG’s Paul Spellacy said: “We have listened to customers and decided to introduce a transportation element into our highly successful warehousing operation.

“As ever, food manufacturers have confidence that we will work with them to make sure that their chilled and frozen goods are stored and transported in such a way that they arrive in tip-top condition”

In addition to the delivery service, TDG has also introduced a courier service, which operates out of its Luton depot and covers the M25 area. This 7.5t van is available to pick up part/last minute orders, and has already been very well received by customers.
