Anita Barker has joined prepared salad and fruit supplier Natures Way Foods from chilled and ambient food specialist Samworths Brothers.
Barker has been appointed as a non-executive director on the NWF board, having previously worked as group executive board director at Samworth Brothers, withresponsibility for group purchasing.
Prior to this sheheld senior rolesat seafood brand Icelandic, shipping line Geest and accountancy firm Hazelwoods, and is well known to the customers of Natures Way Foods.
Commenting on her new role, Barker said:“With the current trends of health clearly at the forefront of the consumer agenda, this product sector is pivotal to the future development of convenience foods.
