World Avocado Organisation (WAO) has partnered with Indian QSR chain and snack retailer Haldiram Products on an avocado-inspired menu.

The menu offers five traditional Indian dishes including avocado sev puri and avocado chatpata paneer tikka, celebrating the versatility of the fruit. 

To launch the new menu Haldiram’s held a celebration event at its flagship Pacific Mall outlet in Delhi which featured a curated tasting experience and insightful discussions on food innovation and changing consumer preferences. Food media, lifestyle influencers and wellness enthusiasts were all in attendance.   

“Our collaboration with the World Avocado Organisation has allowed us to introduce a global superfood in a uniquely Indian way,” said Halidram’s president – retail & QSR Kailash Agarwal. “We are excited to offer our customers a fusion that reflects the evolving food preferences of modern India.” 

The menu makes up part of broader marketing efforts by the WAO to introduce avocado to Indian consumers.  

“Our goal is to educate consumers on the benefits of including avocados in their everyday diet and to promote a healthy lifestyle,” WAO chair Zac Bard said. “This collaboration is a perfect blend of taste and health, marking the start of an exciting culinary journey.”
