The Nuts and Dried Fruit Forum and Frozen Fruit and Vegetables Forum return to Asia Fruit Logistica to explore the latest trends and opportunities in these dynamic categories

The Nuts and Dried Fruit Forum (Day One) and the Frozen Fruit and Vegetables Forum (Day Two) take place each afternoon on the Asiafruit Showcase stage at Asia Fruit Logistica on 2-4 September in Hong Kong.
Both sectors are witnessing exciting expansion – nuts and dried fruit fuelled by global health and nutrition trends, and frozen fruit and vegetables led by consumer demand for convenience, growing health consciousness and efforts to reduce cost and waste.
Curated and chaired by Fruitnet, the two forums bring together industry experts to discuss the key trends and developments shaping both categories, explore growth opportunities and share learnings for the fresh produce business.
Carlo Magni of Forward Insight & Strategy opens the Nuts and Dried Fruit Forum on 2 September with a look at what’s driving growth in the category. Demand for convenient, plant-based and nutrient-dense snacking is propelling the sector, and Magni explains how marketers can capture new opportunities.
Tennison Hoofard of US marketer Sunview Marketing International and Hendry Sim of Indonesian importer Laris Matis Utama present a case study on their impactful marketing campaign to grow the raisin category in Indonesia.

The Nuts and Dried Fruit Forum also features a panel on the booming Indian market led by Mansi Ahuja of Ampro Marketing. Ahuja outlines the key categories, consumption trends and market opportunities, and she explains how innovative marketing and branding can drive consumer demand. She’s then joined by Abdul Kadir Memon of Meridian Nuts and other key distributor/marketers to discuss the shifting market landscape.
Linghuey Lee, regional sales manager of JWM Asia, opens the Frozen Fruit and Vegetables Forum on 2 September with an overview of the evolving frozen fruit market across Asia. Lee details the key consumption trends, demand drivers, supply chain challenges and emerging growth opportunities. Plus, she discusses the value-added products JWM has been developing to capitalise on growing demand.
Elsewhere on the programme, Jane Fielding of British Columbian company Coast Cranberries discusses the health benefits and versatility of frozen cranberries. Fielding explains how cranberries’ relative tartness compared with other berries makes them ideal for pairing to provide flavour complexity. She also highlights the opportunities to branch into the beverage market such as bubble tea and flavoured coffees.
Sudeshna Nambiar, CEO of the British Columbia Blueberry Council, outlines the benefits of honeybees in pollination of blueberries for IQF processing, explaining how pollinator stewardship underpins supply chain resilience.
Both forums are followed by dedicated networking sessions, giving visitors direct access to expert insights, key buyers and suppliers, and new business opportunities in these fast-growing categories.
The Nuts and Dried Fruit Forum and Frozen Fruit and Vegetables Forum take place at Asiafruit Showcase in Hall 5 at Asia Fruit Logistica.
