The owner of the GlobalGAP and GGN labels is bolstering its executive team with two senior hires

Agraya, the home of the GlobalGAP and GGN labels, has announced the appointments of a new chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
Daniel Link will fill the position of COO on 15 July, while Tilman Felshart will assume the role of CFO on 1 August.
The organisation said it is bolstering its leadership team to “advance the organisation and drive growth”.
Link is joining as COO to enhance Agraya’s operational performance and scalability, it stated, while the newly created CFO role will add dedicated financial, legal, and technology leadership to the executive team.
These appointments, together with the earlier appointment of Wouter Conradie as chief commercial officer, are designed to help Agraya build a stronger foundation to improve existing solutions, develop new capabilities, and respond to the evolving needs of the agrifood industry, it outlined.
“The addition of a COO and CFO reflects our commitment to strengthening the foundations of our organisation so that we can scale our impact, accelerate innovation, and serve our stakeholders even more effectively,” explained Dr Elmé Coetzer-Boersma, CEO of Agraya.
”We are not changing what we do; we are building the capabilities to do it better.
“I am delighted to welcome these two experienced leaders to Agraya and look forward to shaping the next chapter of our journey together,” she said.
As COO, Link will continue to develop Agraya’s operational structures and processes, with priorities including strengthening cross-team collaboration, facilitating the delivery of efficient, scalable, high-quality solutions, and enhancing the existing portfolio.
“The challenges facing the industry are becoming increasingly complex and require high-performing, interconnected organisations,” he said.
“Agraya brings together deep industry knowledge, a global presence, and a strong commitment to advancing the industry.
”Strengthening operational consistency and reliability will help ensure the organisation can continue to scale effectively and respond to the evolving needs of the sector, : Link pointed out. ”Being part of that journey is particularly motivating.”

Felshart will lead the finance, technology and legal departments as CFO, developing the company’s financial management further and placing greater emphasis on transparency and governance.
“Agraya has established itself as a key player in the agrifood industry for the last 25 years,” said Felshart.
“The organisation combines a clear sense of purpose with a truly global reach, which makes this an especially exciting opportunity.
”I look forward to working with the team to lay the financial and organisational groundwork for the next phase of development,” he added.
