Wood has previously held senior global roles at SIG Group and Honeywell
AMFresh has appointed Ian Wood as managing director of UK and Northern Europe. He took up his new position in March 2024.
Prior to AMFresh, Wood held senior roles across several industries, most recently food and beverage packaging with Swiss company SIG Group, where he had global responsibility for production, procurement, quality management, supply chain and field service functions. During his time there he led the launch of innovative sustainable packaging solutions and orchestrated successful acquisitions and footprint expansions.
Prior to SIG, Wood held a series of general manager positions at Honeywell, operating across the EMEA region.
Wood holds a degree Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University gaining a degree in Manufacturing Engineering, as well as an MBA from Cranfield University School of Management.
