“In today’s world, automation plays a crucial role in meeting the growing demand for food production and distribution,” Marzio Cazzamali, global industry segment manager for fruit and vegetables at Ammeraal Baltech, told Fruitnet.

“We manufacture conveyor belts, but also design conveyor systems, provide expert consultations, and develop customised solutions that address the unique requirements of your market, facility, or specific machinery.”

Solutions for the unique demands of fruit and vegetable processing

During the event, the Ammeraal Beltech team presented products designed to maintain hygiene in food production, as well as digital solutions to automate operations, orders, and failure detection.

Visitors had the chance to see AMMcare Connect, a digital solution providing real-time access to belt performance data. Other solutions included Soliflex PRO, with its positive drive design eliminating the need to tension the belt, Ultrascreen PRO, a positive drive mesh belt designed for the unique challenges of fruit and vegetable processing, and uni SNB 20 per cent open nub top for superior drainage and non-stick properties.

“Interacting with industry leaders and exchanging ideas proved exceptionally satisfying. It’s these partnerships that enable us to deliver solutions making a tangible difference in food processing operations,” the company said.

The team at Fruit Logistica included colleagues from both Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne. As part of the AMMEGA Group, the two brands provide the largest conveyor belt and power transmission portfolio in the market.

“Meeting industry professionals and discussing ways to improve their operations was truly rewarding. Teamwork and cooperation with our clients at every step of production, from ideation to designing customised solutions and conducting audits, lies at the heart of our approach,” Cazzamali said.
