Move boosts Carton Pack’s position as a provider of sustainable packaging solutions
Bari-based packaging specialist Carton Pack Group has acquired a majority stake in Andolfi & C, a company specialising in sustainable solutions for flexible packaging from Italy’s Marche region.
Andolfi specialises in mono-material polyethylene solutions, which are experiencing significant growth due to their recyclability.
Carton Pack said the move would further advance its position in sustainable products, while vertically integrating flexible film extrusion capabilities. The move broadens Carton Pack’s technological portfolio and creates opportunities for material cost synergies in the medium term.
Giovanni Leone, CEO of Carton Pack, commented: “The entry of Andolfi into our industrial ecosystem represents a natural evolution of our strategic path, strengthening synergies and expanding development possibilities in a constantly changing sector.
“This union allows us to optimize processes and enhance our innovation capacity, with an approach increasingly oriented towards sustainability and operational flexibility”.
In December 2024, Carton Pack acquired a majority stake in Fimat, a company with a consolidated reputation in the food industry market as a reliable and highly specialised partner in the production of cardboard packaging.
