CH Robinson Europe has been granted Authorised Economic Operator certification by Dutch customs.
The certificate confirms the freight forwarder's status as a reliable trade partner in the eyes of authorities in the Netherlands.
The company, a subsidiary of transport and logistics giant CH Robinson Worldwide, will now be subject to fewer physical cargo examinations and document reviews, and can benefit from prior notification of such exams and priority treatment during related processes.
The EU's Authorised Economic Operator programme was started in 2007 and assesses the reliability of companies according to criteria including customs compliance, record-keeping, financial solvency, and security and safety.
