Swedish food group Greenfood reports modest sales growth for 2025, driven by increases for its Picadeli and Food Solutions units

Swedish group Greenfood says it grew its overall net sales by 2.7 per cent to Skr5.8bn (€543.3mn) in 2025, with notable increases of 11.4 per cent and 6.5 per cent respectively for its Picadeli salad bar business and its convenience and catering operation Food Solutions.
Group adjusted Ebitda was 20.3 per cent higher at SKr461mn (€43.2mn) for the year, a result it said was driven primarily by those two divisions, and helped by a 20.2 per cent improvement in profit margin at Picadeli.
Its net result for the period was a loss of SKr77.4mn (€7.25mn), although this was an improvement on the SKr185.5 (€17.4mn) shortfall it recorded in 2024.
The company recently announced a plan to divest most of its fresh produce business unit, where sales were reportedly down 2.7 per cent in 2025.
That news emerged after it agreed a deal in December to sell the majority of its fruit and vegetable wholesale operation to Dole Nordic.
The proposed sale does not include the Picadeli or Food Solutions business units.
