Cosmic Crisp event

Agricola San Clemente showcased its Cosmic Crisp apples at a space-themed event to celebrate US Independence Day held recently at the US Embassy in Chile.

This year’s celebration revolved around Chile’s cooperation with US in the field of astronomy and space exploration. At the event, San Clemente Fruits presented Cosmic Crisp apples, a variety developed by Washington State University, for which San Clemente has held the exclusive Chilean license since 2018 thanks to its partnership with Proprietary Variety Management (PVM).

San Clemente also showcased products made from this fruit, such as apple juice concentrate and the traditional apple pie, highlighting the versatility and quality of their offerings.

Luis Chadwick, CEO of Agricola San Clemente, commented: “We are proud to share that Agricola San Clemente was invited by the US Embassy in Chile to participate in the official celebration of the US Independence Day.

“This recognition highlights our role as exclusive growers and distributors of the Cosmic Crisp apple in Chile and marks a milestone in our longstanding commitment to excellence in fruit production.

“For over 40 years, our company has been dedicated to producing world-class apples. The invitation to represent Cosmic Crisp at this event reflects not only the trust of the brand owners in the United States, but also their appreciation for the work we have done positioning this exceptional variety in the Chilean and global markets.

“It is an honour to represent a brand as innovative and demanding as Cosmic Crisp. This invitation is a tribute to the professionalism and passion of our entire team in Chile. We reaffirm our commitment to continue bringing premium apples from Chile to the world, under the values of quality, innovation, and partnership.”
