Del Monte Corporation has reported its financial results for the third quarter ended 25 September (Q3), with growth in both earnings and net income.

According to the company, the quarter ”provided further evidence of Del Monte’s transformation into a more diversified food platform”.

It noted that, six months after the acquisition of Del Monte Foods, it was benefitting from a stronger earnings mix, improved profitability, and greater balance across its portfolio.

”The acquisition has significantly expanded the scale of Prepared Foods and strengthened Del Monte’s presence across fresh, refrigerated, shelf-stable, and prepared food categories,” the group said.

Net sales came in at US$1.095bn, up from US$1.022bn in Q3 last year, led by the Fresh and Value-Added Products segment which generated net sales of US$461.3mn.

Operating income stood at US$29.1mn, with adjusted operating income at US$35.4mn, Del Monte continued.

Net income attributable to Del Monte Corporation came in at $18.3mn, jumping from the net loss of US$29.1mn seen in the corresponding quarter of 2025. Adjusted net income attributable to Del Monte Corporation was US$23.6mn.

“Our third-quarter results provide clear evidence of the strategic and financial value of our expanded Del Monte portfolio,” said chairman and CEO Mohammad Abu-Ghazaleh.

”Just six months into the integration of Del Monte Foods, the Prepared Foods segment is already adding scale, attractive margins and greater balance to our earnings profile.

”This is supporting strong growth in sales, gross profit and operating income, as well as adjusted EBITDA, particularly as our core Fresh business navigates volume, currency and cost pressures and an increasingly complex global operating environment shaped by weather volatility and geopolitical uncertainty,” he continued.

”These early results reinforce our confidence in our strategy and, more importantly, in the long-term potential of the Del Monte we are building.

”Our focus remains on deepening commercial and operational collaboration, optimising our fresh and agricultural operations, and leveraging the strength of our reunited brand to accelerate innovation across categories,” Abu-Ghazaleh added.

”We are approaching these opportunities with discipline and a clear ambition to build a more resilient, competitive and innovative Del Monte that delivers sustainable long-term shareholder value.”
