The fourth IPM Dubai and the new WOP Dubai World of Perishables fair for temperature-sensitive goods were staged together for the first time at the beginning of March, at Airport Expo Dubai.
Organisers described the combined event, which attracted some 3,600 trade visitors from 63 nations, as a great success.
WOP Dubai, for which Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance and Industry for the UAE, was the patron, attracted 1,347 visitors.
The event featured 80 exhibitors from 18 countries, displaying their products and services from the fields of fresh goods, goods security, technical equipment, transport, trading and services.
