Duda Chilean clementines

Duda Farm Fresh Foods continues to expand its summer citrus programme, now in its 16th year.

New this season, Cara Caras join the line-up of easy peelers, which will be sold along with Navels and lemons under the Dandy label from now through to late October.

In order to ensure continuity of supply and consistent quality, the company has well-established relationships with Southern Hemisphere growers, mainly in Chile, Uruguay and Peru.

“Our imported citrus programme is something which we have worked hard to maintain over the years,” said president Dan Duda.

“Providing consistent, high-quality citrus to our customers is one of our main priorities. We are proud to have a dedicated team of employees who have strong grower partnerships which deliver first class citrus solutions.”

With most production regions experiencing favourable pre-season weather, Duda said it was expecting high quality fruit with good sugar levels and an increase in volume.

“As consumer demand increases, we will continue to fill that demand with high-quality products that we know our established imported programme can deliver,” said Alberto Cuellar, vice president of global business at Duda Farm Fresh Foods.

“We look forward to the opportunity to take care of our customer needs with favourable weather conditions, quality citrus and increased volumes moving forward.”
