The strategic partnership with Elifab and Mat Exakta will provide industry-leading technology for blueberry sorting and packing, with a project set for installation in Morocco in January 2026
Sorting and grading machinery specialist Elifab Solutions has announced a global agreement with California-based berry brand Fruitist.

The strategic partnership with Elifab and MAT Exakta – part of the Ellips Group – is designed to provide industry-leading technology for blueberry sorting and packing.
The agreement was revealed today (12 November) in a Linkedin post by Elifab’s sales director Ed Westerweele.
”This landmark strategic partnership secures a strong commitment from Fruitist to work with Elifab, Mat Exakta and Ellips, to use their sorting, packing equipment and AI grading technology for their packhouses in various countries around the globe,” he explained.
One of the projects under the new commitment, based in Morocco, will be sealed shortly, Westerweele confirmed.
”This project, that will be installed in January 2026 in Agadir, accelerates the deployment of our advanced sorting and packing technology into one of Fruitist’s key growing regions, showcasing the immediate operational value of this long-term partnership,” he said.
Formerly known as Agrovision, the company launched Fruitist as its flagship consumer brand in 2020.
Today, Fruitist is focused on providing premium, large ‘jumbo’ blueberries and other superfruits in convenient, on-the-go formats.
