Leading up to the 2016 edition of Fruit Logistica in Berlin, Eva Apples, the famous brand belonging to Austrian apple export association Eva Handels, has reported near-perfect conditions for the production of its fruit – meaning the produce on show in Berlin will be as welcoming as the group’s stand itself.
“The key facts of this year’s crop are that we have had the finest weather conditions from blossoming right through to the harvest,” explains Heinrich Juritsch, chief executive of Eva Handels. “There is perfect flavour due to the balanced sugar ratio, plus shiny, fully coloured skin; Galas are optimally sized and intensely red, while our Goldens boast high sugar levels for an impressive flavour, plus both greenish and yellower colourings to meet every customer’s need. Volume-wise, there are moderate increases in quantities of Gala and Golden Delicious to meet demands for availability.”
As always, Eva says it will welcome visitors to its stand with a relaxing atmosphere and a greeting from its Styrian ladies, who will be on hand to help visitors cope with the exhausting efforts of the trade show.
