April 2026 marks a strategic milestone in Farms Digital’s international development. The company will participate as an exhibitor at two of the most recognised banana industry trade shows in the Americas: Acorbat in Mexico and Abanorte in Brazil.

The participation confirms the company’s rapid expansion across Latin American markets and its strong commitment to banana producers. Farms Digital develops a comprehensive software solution for monitoring and optimising banana and plantain production, from bunch to box.

The platform enables real-time traceability and operational monitoring, cost and yield analysis per plot, as well as workforce management and performance tracking. It also allows for control of key production stages including bagging, grading, harvesting, packing, and facilitates the monitoring of diseases such as Sigatoka and weevils based on recognised methodologies.

“Deployed in the field through connected mobile tools, the solution supports producers in structuring, digitizing, and optimising their operations,” the company said.

Farms continues to expand with new clients and strategic alliances in Brazil, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, and Honduras, and soon in Costa Rica and the Philippines.

The company relies on a strong ecosystem of technological and scientific partners, including MGITECH, Cirad, ADC Express, Athesi, Telaqua, Famoco, Coimma, Mettler Toledo and others.

The company recently launched its ITK disease management module (Sigatoka) as a standalone solution, along with Hiris, an integrated HR management solution. Other launches and product improvements include a new digital grader, RFID integration, the rollout of mobile weighing and box-level weighing, automation and smart recommendations, improved connectivity with equipment such as scales, RFID and sensors, and AI-enhanced forecasting.

“This roadmap reinforces Farms’ ambition to become the technological benchmark for banana production management,” the company said.
