The ICA Group has announced that net sales for the fourth quarter of 2009 totalled SEK25bn (€2.4bn), an increase of 1.9 per cent of the same quarter of 2008.
Strong fourth quarter sales helped push ICA's net sales for the full-year period between January-December 2009 up 4.1 per cent to SEK94.6bn (€9.3bn).
More information on both the group's fourth quarter and full-year results will be presented in ICA's interim report, to be released on 17 February 2010.
ICA is one of the Nordic region's leading retail companies, with around 2,220 of its own and retailer-owned stores in Sweden, Norway and the Baltic states.
