Fresh & Easy has taken third place in Stores magazine's annual Hot 100 Retailers list.
The National Retail Foundation's publication puts the list together according to annual sales growth.
Sales at Fresh & Easy, which was launched by Tesco in late 2007, increased 37.8 per cent year-on-year in 2010.
Tops Markets (fifth) and Bodega Latina (sixth), the operator of El Super supermarkets, were the two other fresh food retailers to make the top ten.
