Company said new brand brings its quality-driven, vertically integrated approach to the citrus category

Blandon, Pennsylvania-based Giorgio has launched Vita Sana Sol, a premium brand of Persian limes grown on family-owned farms in Colombia.
Known for its vertically integrated approach to mushroom production, the company said it is bringing the same commitment to quality, consistency and transparency to its newest venture. Every Vita Sana Sol lime is grown, harvested and packed under oversight throughout the growing process, ensuring premium fruit from the grove to the retailer.
“At first, people may be surprised to see Giorgio entering the citrus category, but for us, it was a natural evolution,” said Bryan Shelton, vice president of sales and marketing at Giorgio.
“Success in fresh produce comes from understanding how to grow exceptional products with consistency and care. Whether it’s mushrooms or limes, our focus remains the same –partnering with experienced growers, maintaining quality throughout the process and delivering fresh products our customers can trust.”
Vita Sana Sol offers a range of packaging options designed to meet the needs of retailers and consumers, including individual retail packs, bagged programmes and larger formats for merchandising flexibility.
The company said it selected Persian limes for their premium quality and versatility. The fruit is used in cocktails and mocktails, marinades, dressings and international cuisines, and continues to play an essential role in kitchens as consumers seek fresh, vibrant flavours.
