International women’s networking platform to host first-ever Global Networking Panel and Cocktail
Global Women Fresh (GWF), the community for women in the fresh produce industry, is to hold its first-ever Global Network Panel and Cocktail during this year’s Fruit Attraction trade fair in Madrid.
Held in partnership with Fruit Attraction, MujerAGRO, and the Import Promotion Desk (IPD), a project of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), this inaugural event brings together global voices and fresh perspectives for an afternoon of bold dialogue, international connection, and community building.
“Fruit Attraction is where the global produce industry meets and there’s no better place to host our first networking event of this kind in Madrid,” said GWF founder Julie Escobar. “We’re creating a space where women from across continents, categories, and cultures can come together, share ideas, and grow stronger together.”
The event will feature a panel discussion between global female leaders from production, trade, retail, and innovation, where they will share insights on market trends, leadership, and global collaboration. This will be followed by a cocktail networking reception.
“This event marks a milestone for GWF, elevating its presence on the international stage and furthering its commitment to connection, leadership and opportunity for women in fresh produce,” Escobar said.
