UK wholesale soft fruit supplier Hargreaves Plants has won an award for its commitment to staff training and apprenticeship schemes.
Hargreaves has been given the 2011 Lincolnshire and Rutland Skills Award for medium-size businesses.
MD Rupert Hargreaves commented: 'Hargreaves Plants is enjoying significant growth at the moment, both in the UK market and in exports. Clearly this growth is only achievable by continued investment in people.'
John Hayes, the UK's Member of Parliament for further education, skills and lifelong learning, said: 'We applaud their initiative.'
