The 8th edition of Sifel Maroc took place on 9-12 December in Agadir.
The show was inaugurated by the Moroccan minister of agriculture Aziz Akhannouch, the German ambassador, representing the country of honour for this year, and Agadir's mayor Tariq Kabbage, according to Végétable.
'This year, the show has taken on a new dimension,' said Mr Kabbage. 'It has a significant part to play in the future of the sector and forms part of a new context dictated by the Plan Maroc Vert.'
Tomatoes and citrus, above all the Afourer variety, were two of the main products being promoted at the exhibition.
