The interprofessional said Carpintero will guide the organisation through its next phase of consolidation

Intertropic, the Spanish Interprofessional Organisation for Avocado and Mango, has named Antonio Carpintero as its new CEO. The appointment comes at a key moment for the organisation, which is currently undergoing a consolidation phase and faces significant strategic challenges, both in promoting and enhancing the value of its products and in strengthening the interprofessional structure of the avocado and mango sector in Spain.
“Carpintero has extensive professional experience in general management, strategic management, and the development of complex projects, bringing a results-oriented approach, a focus on consensus, and generating real impact in the sectors in which he has worked,” Intertropic said.
“His appointment reflects Intertropic’s commitment to establishing a strong, professional, and industry-focused executive leadership, aligned with the interests of producers and marketers.”
Highlighting the importance of this appointment to guide the organisation through its next phase, Intertropic underscored the need for coordinated, effective, and practical management to strengthen its representation and maximise the value of its initiatives.
Carpintero said he would take up his new role with enthusiasm, a dedication to service, and a firm commitment to working closely with the board of directors to ensure the Organization’s continued growth and positive, tangible impact.
“With this appointment, Intertropic strengthens its management structure and takes a decisive step toward its goal of consolidating its position as a key player in the defence, promotion, and development of the avocado and mango sector in Spain,” the interprofessional said in a statement.
