Port of Koper

Port authority officials from Ravenna, Trieste and Venice in Italy, along with representatives of the Slovenian Port of Koper, have signed a declaration of intent that is expected to lead to the creation of a four-way strategic partnership aimed at boosting commercial trade, quality and efficiency at the Adriatic ports.

At a meeting in Koper, leading members of the four authorities agreed to collaborate on developing common areas for operational partnership that will maximise each individual port's potential while offering additional value and new opportunities for growth.

In effect, the four ports will look to present themselves as a single entity on the global market, forming a major hub for both goods and passengers.
