JemD International in Canada has announced Adrian Abbott will be its new director of operations.
Abbott, who was Canadian produce man of the year in 2010, will be based in Kingsville, Ontario, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the distribution centre and facility.
Abbott was previously at BC Tree Fruits, where he was director of marketing and industry relations.
JemD's president, Jim DiMenna, said: 'With his knowledge and vast experience in produce operations, Adrian will positively contribute to the growth of our company as we continue our expansions throughout North America.'
